School group did a big work to find out all the secrets of life. We started from the birth and followed the whole path and different states of human's life. What a venture. Children really enjoyed to tell their own experiences, ideas and thoughts about the life itself. And what the most wonderful thing was that all children thought that life has to be full of happiness and it has to be lived fully with lots of fun, excitements, make lots of good memories with friends and family.
Runeberg torte on Runeberg's Day
"Runeberg torte is a Finnish pastry flavored with almonds and arrack or rum and weighing about 100 grams. It usually has rasberry jam encircled by a ring of icin on top. The torte is named after the Finnish poet Johan Ludvig Runeberg who, according to legend, regularly enjoyed the torte with punsch for breakfast.

Making a Mother's Day cards. Mother's Day in Finland is always second Sunday in May.

We hope that more children and adults will join with us next Autumn and we will have more wonderful moments to enjoy Finnish language, customs and people who feel that Finland is close their hearts some way or another.
